TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
Self-closing valves with “weight” are most often used in water or fuel systems, in which the valves are normally “closed”. The valve is opened by lifting the weight, relying on it to subsequently self-close again. The latter is used to avoid “forgetting” the valve in the open state – for process safety. Seal – metal / metal.

Water, thermal oil, fuels, oils, flammable hydraulic oils, non-flammable hydraulic oils, petroleum, boiler feed water, condensate and seawater.

• The installation is carried out in a position that ensures the correct operation of the valve (such that when the lifting force ceases, the valve closes itself by gravity).
• It is possible to have a version for operation via a pedal with a lever mechanism.
